This Privacy Policy explains what data ALTEBIO (“ALTEBIO”, “we”, “us”) receives through the website altebio.com (the “Site”), why we use it, how long we keep it and how we protect it. Please read it before sending us your details.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data described below is ALTEBIO, Kichik Halqa Yuli 8, Yakkasaroy district, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to info@altebio.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what you tell us yourself, plus the minimum of technical information sent by your browser.

• Partnership enquiries. Company name, country, website, contact person, e-mail, phone, area of interest, target markets, the text of your message and any files you attach.
• Correspondence. The content of the letters and messages you send us, and our replies.
• Technical data. IP address, browser details, referring page, date and time of the request. These are stored together with the enquiry and protect the form against automated submissions.
• Visit statistics. Anonymised information about the pages opened, if web analytics is connected — see the Cookie Policy for details.

We do not collect special categories of data (health, biometrics, religious or political views) and ask you not to include them in your message or attachments. The Site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect their data.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and discuss cooperation — on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the box in the form, and of our legitimate interest in responding to business requests.
• To prepare and perform an agreement — where an enquiry develops into commercial negotiations.
• To keep the Site secure — protection against spam, abuse and fraudulent submissions, on the basis of our legitimate interest.
• To meet legal requirements — accounting, tax and other statutory obligations.

We never sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Who we share it with

Inside ALTEBIO, access is limited to the employees who handle partnership enquiries. Outside the company, data may be processed on our behalf by:

• the hosting provider on whose servers the Site and its database run;
• the mail service that delivers enquiry notifications to us;
• the web analytics service, if analytics is connected.

These providers act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality. Data may also be disclosed to state authorities where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while cooperation is being discussed or maintained, and for no longer than three years after our last contact, unless accounting or other legislation prescribes a longer period. After that the record and its attachments are deleted. You may ask us to delete your data sooner, at any time.

6. Transfers abroad

ALTEBIO operates in Uzbekistan. Because we work with manufacturers and distributors from other countries, correspondence about your enquiry may be transferred abroad — in that case we apply the safeguards required by the applicable data protection law.

7. Your rights

Under the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Personal Data” and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may:

• ask what data about you we hold and receive a copy of it;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data deleted or its processing restricted;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
• withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal;
• receive your data in a machine-readable format;
• lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@altebio.com. We reply within thirty days and may ask for information confirming your identity.

8. Security

The Site works over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to the administration panel is password-protected and limited to authorised staff; forms are protected against cross-site request forgery and automated submissions. No transfer of data over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, loss and disclosure.

9. Cookies

The Site uses a minimum set of cookies. The details are set out in the Cookie Policy.

10. Links to other websites

Pages of the Site contain links to the resources of partners, manufacturers and media. We do not control them and are not responsible for the way they handle data — read their own policies before submitting anything there.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our processes or the law change. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update; material changes are announced on the Site.
